Chuck's bluegrass journey started in North Georgia at the legendary Everett’s Music Barn in Suwanee. This is where he ended up meeting mentors like Louisa Branscomb, Scott Morgan, & Francis Mooney who taught him the ways of songwriting and performing in the bluegrass world.
Since moving to Colorado in 2020 he's become even more inspired to continue writing songs that carry on that High Lonesome sound. On High Lonesome's debut album Chuck carries four songwriting credits. “We Hit The Road” a co-write with Michael David Smith that he begin writing right before hitting the road to Colorado. “Savage Sundown” which came about after he read a book he found at Pearl Street Book Store about Chief Left Hand and the horrific Sand Creek Massacre. “All That's Left” that tells the similar story of not seeing eye to eye with all you meet. And a more recent song about losing love in the mountains, “You'll Never Know.”
Aside from being the front man for bluegrass bands for the past thirty years he loves playing solo shows where he can showcase his other music passions as well as the stories behind the songs.

Upcoming New Music
“We basically play for world peace over here,” says Sitero. “Our music is out there to entertain people and take people’s minds off of the current things that are happening with the United States and the world.”
